Maintain, Don't GainTips for Your Health: Maintain, Don't Gain This Holiday Season

HR Wellness is again offering all FCPS employees an opportunity to take part in the Maintain, Don’t Gain Holiday Fitness Challenge. Last year, more than 1,500 employees at 160-plus sites participated, and more than 90 percent were able to either maintain or lose weight. (get details)

Employee Assistance Program Available to FCPS Staff Members

The employee assistance program (EAP) is a service available to FCPS staff members in need of help with personal and/or family problems. The program provides short-term confidential counseling and makes referrals (as appropriate) to outside providers, community resources, and support groups. (get details)

  • The Department of Professional Learning and Accountability wants to hear about the professional development needs of FCPS employees through an online survey. The deadline to complete the survey has been extended until November 30 (Date Updated). (get details)

  • Fairfax County Public Schools and the Fairfax County government are teaming up again this year to solicit community input on ways to help meet a significant projected budget deficit for FY 2011. The final sessions will be held November 14. (get details)

  • If you are participating in the 403(b) retirement savings plan accounts and would like to continue next year, you must reenroll by December 20.
