FCPS Remembers
Information for FCPS Remembers is provided by the Educational Employees Retirement System of Fairfax County (ERFC) and by the Department of Human Resources for members of the Fairfax County Employees Retirement System (FCERS).
In the event of the death of any active employee who is now contributing to the ERFC and/or the VRS retirement systems, or any retiree who retired from these systems, notify the ERFC retirement office by calling 703-426-3900. The retirement office will provide the names to Supergram with details of the deceased's employment with FCPS. In the event of the death of an active member or retiree of FCERS, notify Benefit Processing at 571-423-3200.

- Regina Philippon, technical assistant at Westlawn, who retired June 1, 1998, and who died April 26.
- Preston Haynie, teacher at Robinson, who retired July 1, 1984, and who died June 8.
- Andromeda Tatara, teacher at Hayfield Secondary, who retired March 1, 2004, and who died November 28.
- Loretta Tully, secretary in the Department of Financial Services, who retired January 1, 1984, and who died April 27.
- Olive VanDoren, teacher at Thoreau, who retired July 1, 1974, and who died November 26.
- McTurner Waid, principal at Beech Tree, who retired July 1, 1978, and who died April 4.
- Albert Ward, teacher at Layton Hall, who retired July 1, 1978, and who died March 29.
- Parker Wenk, teacher at Louise Archer, who died April 24.
- Sara Wheeler, teacher at Chesterbrook, who retired July 1, 1989, and who died January 18.
- Vivian White, teacher at Waynewood, who retired July 1, 1983, and who died December 27.
- George Williams, teacher at Edison, who retired July 1, 1981, and who died May 29.
- David Willis, teacher at Crossfield, who died April 18.
- Mary Witten, Area II administrative aide, who retired July 1, 1979, and who died March 30.

- Edith Owens, food service worker at Cooper, who retired on July 9, 1984, and who died on June 21.
- Grace Williams, custodian at Robinson, who retired on May 14, 1980, and who died on June 27.
- Edward Seawood, building supervisor at Forestville, who retired on December 1, 2007, and who died on July 6.
- Daniel Terrill, carpet shampooer in Plant Operations, who retired on June 13, 1991, and who died on June 11.
- George Ryals, custodian at Irving, who retired on January 20, 2007, and who died on June 30.
- Frances Smith, teacher at Sandburg, who retired July 1, 1988, and who died June 24.
- Margaret Miller, teacher at Beech Tree, who retired July 1, 1983, and who died July 3.
- Martine Langley, counselor at West Potomac, who retired July 1, 1988, and who died June 25.
