Information for FCPS Remembers is provided by the Educational Employees Retirement System of Fairfax County (ERFC) and by the Department of Human Resources for members of the Fairfax County Employees Retirement System (FCERS).

In the event of the death of any active employee who is now contributing to the ERFC and/or the VRS retirement systems, or any retiree who retired from these systems, notify the ERFC retirement office by calling 703-426-3900. The retirement office will provide the names to Supergram with details of the deceased's employment with FCPS. In the event of the death of an active member or retiree of FCERS, notify Benefit Processing at 571-423-3200.

• Cecil Shepherd, bus driver in Area I, who retired on June 11, 1983, and who died March 15.
• Doris Pearson, food service worker at South Lakes, who retired June 21, 1988, and who died March 21.
• Zaida Alvarez-Rodriguez, bus driver at Stonecroft Transportation, who died April 3.
• Hanan Zaki, food service worker at Forest Edge, who died January 4.
• Yinti Hagee, bus attendant at Lorton Center, who retired on June 18, 2004 and who died on March 7.
• Donna Henry, bus attendant at Lorton Center, who died on March 31.
• Robert Kirby, roofer at Sideburn Center, who retired on December 11, 1991, and who died on March 15.
• Evelyn Michaliga, teacher at Hybla Valley, who retired July 1, 2006, and who died November 24.
• Reggie Korovlev, physical disabilities itinerant teacher at Key Center, who retired November 1, 1999, and who died February 25.
• Idrissa Kamara, instructional assistant at Holmes, who died February 27.
• James Lyke, teacher at Groveton High School, who retired July 1, 1978, and who died April 6.
