School Board Votes to Adopt West County Boundary Changes
The Fairfax County School Board voted to adopt the staff recommendation of the west county boundary study. The new boundaries will relieve crowding at Chantilly and Westfield High Schools, balance enrollments at South Lakes High School, and eliminate the Madison High School attendance island. Supergram Schedule Change for March and April
To avoid conflicting with FCPS' spring break, the next issue of Supergram will be posted on March 26 instead of March 19. The deadline for article submissions will remain March 12. The issue dates for April will also change to April 9 and 23, with article deadlines moving to April 2 and 16, respectively. (get details)



Flier DistributionCommunications Corner: Distribution of Fliers in Schools
Recently, the Office of Community Relations has been getting calls regarding the distribution of fliers from nonschool-related groups. Policy 1367.1, enacted in 2003, governs the way fliers are to be posted or distributed. Bottom Line: School principals are responsible for determining whether materials from nonschool-related groups satisfy the requirements of this regulation.
