FY 2010 Proposed Budget to Be Presented January 8; Redlining Policy Suspended

Superintendent Jack Dale will present the FY 2010 proposed budget tomorrow, January 8, at Gatehouse Administration Center I. Specific budget information will be posted online late Thursday evening. In addition, the Fairfax County School Board has voted to suspend its redlining policy that, in normal budget years, provides a financial ease of transition for employees who are moved involuntarily to shorter contract lengths or positions that pay lower salaries.
