Opt-Out Choices: Objection to Release of Information for Graduation Photos for Commercial Purposes

You have the right to opt your child out of any collection of personal information if that information will be marketed or sold by FCPS or if FCPS collects it for others to sell. FCPS provides names and addresses of seniors to commercial photographers and videographers who photograph each senior during the graduation ceremonies and then contact the graduates by mail to sell the photographs. FCPS also provides names and addresses of students who have graduated to alumni directory services. If you DO NOT want to receive a solicitation from a commercial photographer or videographer to purchase photos of your student graduating, or from an alumni directory service, complete the opt-out form. opt-out form (pdf).
