In Other Words is a cable TV show produced by FCPS primarily for adult residents of Fairfax County who want more information about their schools but have limited English skills. The show is written in English, and then produced in five other languages: Arabic, Farsi, Korean, Spanish, and Vietnamese. In Other Words airs on Red Apple 21 every day at 5:30 p.m. Each of the five languages has regular weekly airdates:

Sundays-Farsi
Mondays–Arabic
Wednesdays–Spanish
Fridays–Korean
Saturdays-Vietnamese

In Other Words encourages residents still learning English to take an active role in Fairfax County Public Schools and, inspires parents to participate in their child’s education. Topics include transportation, student achievement, volunteerism, testing, graduation requirements, registration dates, and more.
