Appreciate the Past, Celebrate the Present, and Embrace the Future
In addition to the activities below, open to all members of the Marshall community, students are encouraged to participate in the 45th anniversary essay contest

Gala - Saturday, April 12, 6:30pm
- Keynote speaker: the Honorable Thomas R. Pickering, former United States Ambassador to Jordan (1974-78), Nigeria (1981-83), El Salvador (1983-85), Israel (1985-88), the United Nations (1989-1992), India (1992-93), and Russia (1993-96)
- Dinner prepared by Chef Ciaran Devlin of The Five Star Café; Tthe Food Network's Ace of Cakes will create a student-designed cake featuring the Griffin mascot
- New Booster Club Hall of Fame inductees and the first Statesmen of the 21st Century awardees
- Music by the Marshall String Quartet
Dodona Manor Tour - Sunday, April 13, 10:45-2:30
- Dodona Manor was Marshall's home
- $18 covers bus and admission costs
5-Star 5K Fun Run - Saturday, April 19, 8:00am
- Register
by April 13 for discount price - Run or walk
