  It is important to the business department that we provide our students with various opportunities related to their field of study. Students that participate in our job shadow have the opportunity to shadow and work with various senior level directors and vice presidents of companies. It is an amazing opportunity that we highly encourage students to take advantage of especially since we have limited space.

  Deloitte’s Virtual Team Challenge Competition

  This was the Finance class first year competing in Deloitte’s Virtual Team Challenge competition and we are absolutely thrilled to announce we had three teams place amongst the 400 top high school teams from around the United States.  During late October and November, student’s involved within the Finance course competed in Deloitte’s Virtual Team Academic Challenge.  We were interviewed by the Washington Post about our involvement with the competition, how the virtual game challenge relates to the business world and is integrated into the curriculum; a virtual business game and its impact on learning, and the potential of future virtual gaming within education.
