Global Entrepreneurship Week Activities - Together, we are fired up for Entrepreneurship!

 

 

 

On Monday, November 16th, our Global Entrepreneurship Week kicked off with lunch speaker Carol Fleming, owner of Vienna Pet Spaw who spoke to students about how she launched her successful pet grooming business.

On Tuesday, November 17th students sparked an exciting lunch looking for raffle tickets to win gift cards from local entrepreneurial businesses: Foster’s Grille, Outback and Chipolte.

On Wednesday, November 18th the Entrepreneurship Program hosted Dorothy Ready, Marketing Manager from Chick-fil-A Fair Oaks Mall who talked about how Chick-fil-A started and grew its business. Students were treated to lunch and raffle prizes including books autographed by Chick-fil-A’s founder, Chick-fil-A cows and beverage cups.

On Thursday, November 19th, DECA members passed out treats to Marshall students with information about the Entrepreneurship Program.

On Friday, November 20th the Entrepreneurship Program learned about social entrepreneurship from the Lost Dog Rescue Foundation. Students had a chance to meet the “clients” and learn the advantages of this special type of Entrepreneurship.
