NOTICE OF SPECIAL GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

A general membership meeting will be held on Friday, June 6, 2008 at 6:45pm in the cafeteria, in conjunction with Movie Night. There are two items on the agenda.

First, new PTA bylaws need to be approved. The complete text of the new bylaws can be found here; there is also a copy available in the school’s front office. Questions about the bylaw changes should be directed to Bylaws Chair Pamela Nelson at pnnelson@msn.com or 703-690-4369.

Second, officers for the 2008-2009 school year need to be elected. The Nominating Committee has presented the following slate of officers for consideration.

REFLECTIONS
The National PTA sponsors the Reflections program, which is an arts recognition and achievement program for students in kindergarten through grade twelve in literature, musical composition, photography, visual arts, dance choreography and film/video production.

The theme for the 2008-2009 school year is “Wow…”. Entries will be due in late October 2008; for instructions, please refer to the 2007-2008 Reflections information at http://www.fccpta.org/reflections/reflections_menu.htm
