A message from Ms. Julia (Jodi) Santiago, Assistant Principal
Welcome to Lorton Station Elementary School! Before coming to LSES, I was the Intersession Coordinator at Graham Road Elementary for two years. I have been in many schools in Fairfax County throughout my career; however, I am so excited to be back in Lorton. I feel as though I have come home. I began my teaching career at the original Lorton Elementary School which is now called Lorton Center, where I taught second grade. When I am not at school, I love to take long walks, play the piano, and travel. I have a daughter named Margaret and a son named Oscar. My mother and a cat named Peter live with me as well. My favorite part of being an Assistant Principal is spending time with the students. Everyday, I look forward to seeing their smiling faces and hearing their laughter that fills the hallways. I hope that everyone has a wonderful year achieving as learners and succeeding as people. Although, we've only been together a short time, I am amazed at what we've been able to accomplish.
