Richmond

The 2008 Regular Session convened on Wednesday, January 9, 2008, and adjourned sine die on Thursday, March 13, 2008. The Reconvened Regular Session will meet Wednesday, April 23, 2008, to consider Governor's actions on legislation from the Regular Session.

A Special Session was convened Thursday, March 13, 2008, to consider legislation relating to bonds and capital improvement. The Special Session will meet Wednesday, April 23, 2008, immediately upon adjournment sine die of the Reconvened Regular Session unless called back earlier by the Speaker of the House or the President Pro-Tempore of the Senate.
