The Foundation for Fairfax County Public Schools is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit partnership between the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce and Fairfax County Public Schools. Created in 2010, it broadly serves the needs of the school system, matching resources to underfunded and unfunded programs. Our mission is to secure the financial support required to maintain a world-class school system that inspires, enables, and empowers students to meet high academic standards and enhances the quality of life where we live, learn, and work. Through collaboration with individuals and businesses from across Fairfax County and Northern Virginia, the Foundation aims to:
- Provide a flexible vehicle for the community to invest in its future through education
- Promote and grow school initiatives that support students in acquiring twenty-first-century skills, advance the diverse needs of our communities, and create a globally competitive work force
