Lesson 13: Insect Orders

 

Using the website, choose 25 insects and list them in the their correct Orders. Then look at each grouping and write a few sentences about it. Tell why you think entomologists (scientists who study insects) put these animals together in the same groups.

You can find what Order an insect is a member of at the bottom of each Species Page. For example, the Eastern Tiger Swallowtail and the Luna Moth are both in the Lepidoptera Order.
