Welcome! This site was designed for use by elementary age students in Northern Virginia to learn more about their local ecology. It achieves this purpose by providing a variety of activities by which students explore the site through links based on natural relationships. Relationships, including predator/prey, competition, mutualism, etc. provide easy understanding of how living things interact on a continuing basis. Students will also see how they themselves fit into this ecology, how their actions affect their environment, and how their environment affects them.
