	Advanced Composition 1
	This course provides students an in-depth study of writing in the academic disciplines. Students improve their writing through intense word study, critical reading, and analytical thinking. Students expand and refine their ability to write through analyzing and evaluating their own writing and that of others. Students may also participate in the school’s writing center.
