FCPS Online Campus delivers courses identical in content to those offered in our traditional classrooms and uses multi-media to engage students. These courses are aligned with the Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL) and follow the Fairfax County Public Schools Program of Studies (POS).
General registration for the School Year 2013-2014 for Fairfax County Public Schools Online Campus course requires approval from the local high school counselor. The school counselor will process the registration of each student. If the registration is approved, the student will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to access their course from their online instructor.
To check on the status of a request to register, contact the local high school counseling office.
Late Start Option for Students Who Want SLEEP Accommodations in SY 2013-14
Students may take up to two online courses that can be scheduled in the first and second block to allow for additional time to sleep. Transportation arrangements for a student on this modified schedule is the responsibility of the family. Students who wish to pursue this option should indicate that at the time of course registration.
