About Online Campus

FCPS Online Campus delivers courses identical in content to those offered in our traditional classrooms and uses multi-media to engage students. These courses are aligned with the Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL) and follow the Fairfax County Public Schools Program of Studies (POS).

Student Registration Information

General registration for the School Year 2015-2016 for Fairfax County Public Schools Online Campus course requires approval from the local high school counselor.  The school counselor will process the registration of each student.  If the registration is approved, the student will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to access their course from their online instructor. Tuition information for each course is located within the course listing in the Course Catalog.

To check on the status of a request to register, contact the local high school counseling office.

Late Start Option: High school students may take up to two online courses through the FCPS Online Campus in place of a face-to-face course for scheduling conflicts or personal reasons, including health. Transportation arrangements for a student on this modified schedule are the responsibility of the family. Students who wish to pursue this option should indicate their intent at the time of course registration and plan closely with their school counselor.
