Fairfax County Public Schools is proud to announce the awarding of a Carol M. White Physical Education Program (PEP) Grant from the U.S. Department of Education to the school division. Living Fit in Fairfax is a three-year grant project designed to improve the health and fitness literacy of students. The project will coordinate nutrition, fitness, and physical activity opportunities for K-12 students. This fitness based project supports student achievement of the Virginia Standards of Learning for health and physical education. Living Fit in Fairfax represents a turning point for physical education in providing health and fitness literacy and improved activity for all students.
