Marketing provides courses leading to various marketing career choices. Specialized training includes career preparation in such areas as advertising, entrepreneurship, fashion marketing, hotel marketing, marketing management, and sales promotion.

The marketing program provides general and specialized courses leading to various marketing career choices. Students may elect to earn additional credit and wages through participation in supervised on-the-job training related to their classroom instruction. Specialized training includes career preparation in such areas as advertising, entrepreneurship, fashion marketing, food marketing, financial services marketing, hotel marketing, media marketing, marketing management, electronic commerce, and sales promotion. Immediate employment opportunities or education beyond high school graduation are options in this broad career field. Students may receive college credit at the Northern Virginia Community College or Johnson & Wales University upon successful completion of a sequence of certain marketing courses.
