Emergency Announcements

If classes are canceled due to weather, your class will automatically be rescheduled one week later at the same time and place unless someone from ACE notifies you otherwise. If you are attending a class with several sessions, attend your next scheduled class meeting.

Classes will not meet when FCPS schools are closed due to inclement weather, holidays, or emergencies.
When Fairfax County Public Schools have a schedule change (closing or delay) due to inclement weather or other emergencies, the information is communicated as soon as the decision is made in these ways: 

• Posted on TV Channel 21 (Cox Communications, Reston Comcast, and Verizon cable customers only).
  
• Posted to FCPS emergency announcements
  
• Sent via e-mail to subscribers through the FCPS Keep In Touch e-mail notification system
  
• Called in to area radio and televisions stations
  
• Posted to Facebook and Twitter.

You may also call 703-658-1203, the 24-hour ACE Closings and Cancellations Telephone line. When evening classes are canceled due to bad weather, registration offices will close at 4:30 p.m.
