Please note that there are requirements to complete BEFORE attending orientation. These will be outlined in your confirmation e-mail.

Early Hire Employees for the 2013 -2014 School Year:   Orientation sessions for early hire instructional employees will be held in June.  Please register online for the session of your choice.  If you are  an early hire employee and are unable to attend one of the early hire sessions, you may register for any Instructional Employee session scheduled in July or August when registration begins in late June.

Instructional Employees include teachers, librarians, school counselors, band directors, psychologists, social workers, speech/occupational/physical therapists, school-based technology specialists (SBTS), school-based and most nonschool-based administrators. 

Instructional Assistants (IAs) should register for one of the orientation sessions in August held specifically for IAs. If you start your IA assignment prior to August, you should schedule a session listed under “Instructional Employees” below, in order to be in compliance with the 30 calendar day timeframe after your start date in which you must attend your orientation session and complete your paperwork.

Support Employees includes all maintenance,  technical (except SBTS),  and office staff; student information assistants; central office employees and administrators; public health attendants (PHAs); public health training assistants (PHTAs); safety and security staff; educational interpreters; athletic trainers; and after-school specialists.
