Employee Assistance Program

About Us

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) helps employees deal with personal problems that might adversely impact their work performance, health, and well-being. EAP generally includes assessment, short-term counseling, and referral services. The services of the EAP are paid for by the school system; however, if a referral for therapy or specialized services is necessary, those fees will be the responsibility of the employee and may be covered through health insurance.

Participation in this program, including the nature of your concerns and any referrals are confidential even if you are referred by your supervisor. Information regarding participation can only be released by the employee’s written consent or in cases impacted by law or regulation. No information concerning participation in the program will become part of the employee's personnel file.
