This guide is intended to help you identify changes you may need to make to your benefits after the death of a family member.
Benefits
- Remove deceased from medical insurance (within 30 days)
- Remove deceased from dental insurance (within 30 days)
- Change your life insurance beneficiary
- Consider adjusting the amount of life insurance you carry
- If you carried an optional life insurance policy you should make a claim
- Change your 403(b) beneficiary
- Change your 457(b) beneficiary
- Change your Defined Benefit Plans Beneficiary
