Teacher Performance Evaluations Task Force
The FCPS Teacher Evaluation Task Force was created to align our teacher evaluation process with the new Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) Guidelines and Standards that become effective July 1, 2012. When VDOE announced new statewide teacher evaluations, FCPS assembled a task force committed to developing a process that complies with state guidelines and that involves and respects its teachers. Nineteen teachers and present/former teacher association representatives sit on the task force, in addition to seven principals, seven department and cluster representatives, and two community members.
