The Office of Licensure, in the Office of Employment Services, assists newly hired and current FCPS employees with application for a new Virginia teaching license, license renewal, other licensure transactions, and additional salary requests. Instructional and pupil personnel service positions require licensure. Licensed employees include: teachers, librarians, principals, assistant principals, counselors, psychologists, social workers, speech language pathologists, occupational/physical/speech therapists, and school-based technology specialists.
