Welcome Center

About Us:

The Welcome Center is a multi-purpose facility located on the first floor and is staffed by Human Resource (HR) professionals. Visitors and guests in the Welcome Center can receive general information, assistance, and guidance regarding Fairfax County Public Schools.

Various HR specific processes including applicant assistance, substitute employment, recruitment, orientation, fingerprinting, badge issuance and HR telephone support are also handled by the staff in the Welcome Center.

Our Mission:

The mission of Client Services is to provide a world class customer service experience to support FCPS staff and the community.

Our Goals:

• Provide accurate and timely information about HR related policies, procedures and regulations
• Ensure that every candidate selected for hire has a full background check and that all hires meet FCPS standards
• Provide excellent client communications
• Ensure that FCPS is in compliance with State and Federal Laws
• Deliver quality information to staff and the community at large
• Promote, recognize and develop staff
