Approved Budget Includes Changes to Retirement and Life Contributions
Fairfax County's new prescription drug discount card for uninsured or under-insured
A number of FCPS employees received a ProAct discount card at their homes. This discount program does not replace your current pharmacy benefit through Express Scripts (ESI) or Kaiser Permanente, but could assist with discounts on non-covered drugs.
Benefit Deduction Changes for 11-month and 12-month employees
Currently, benefit deductions are taken each pay period over an employee’s contract length. Effective 2012, certain benefit deductions will be taken over 10 months for all employees (over 20 pays for biweekly paid employees) for 12-month coverage.
