Fairfax County Public Schools is dedicated to ensuring that our employees are provided with the best Integrated Disability Management (IDM) Program. The program consists of workers compensation, and short-term and long-term disability. Liberty Mutual is the program administrator for the FCPS IDM Program.
If employees are injured on the job or believe that they may have sustained an occupational illness and/or injury, they may be eligible to receive Workers' Compensation benefits. Benefits available through Workers' Compensation include payment for medical expenses and prescription costs, and salary replacement if the employee is totally disabled for more than 7 calendar days as a result of the accident or illness.
