Walking Routes
- Students may be required to walk to schools or bus stops up to:
- Official distances are measured with a walking wheel, not by vehicle odometer
- In the case of two or more acceptable walking routes, the route shortest in distance will be selected and considered valid
- Walking routes will be measured from school property line to residence property lines
- Walking routes may be evaluated for unusual hazards by transportation and school safety staff
