School Bus Safety Instruction
School bus safety instruction including practice of emergency evacuations is required by the state. To assist schools with meeting these requirements, several school bus drivers bring their buses to schools and provide demonstration and practice. These drivers have received special training and are scheduled to work with all kindergarten and third grader classes. Instruction emphasizes safe loading, unloading, riding, and emergency evacuation. The danger zones around the bus and bus stop safety are also emphasized to keep our children safe.
