Planning for Field Trips
Field Trip Planning
- Trip times on (Monday) school days: depart at 9:30 a.m. and return to origin or school by 12:00 p.m.
- Trip times on (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) school days: 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. or after 5:00 p.m.
- No buses are available on school days between: 7:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Consider student and chaperone needs for seating and any equipment to be transported.
- No notice of cancellation on school day = 2 hour minimum charge. No notice of cancellation on non-school day = 4 hour minimum charge.
- SOL Remediation or other after school requirements will have some effect on trips after 5:00 p.m.
