Commercial Buses

Only full-size commercial buses (similar to the pictures above) may be used to transport students.

Examples of unacceptable buses are shown below. These vehicles are typically smaller, not able to absorb and distribute impact as well, or lack other safety features such as side impact protection, roll-over protection, etc. that come on school buses. Most commercial carriers offer a variety of different vehicles.
