Safety and Security

About Us

The Office of Safety and Security is responsible for matters dealing with safety, security and emergency management within Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS). The office has specialists in the areas of public safety, environmental safety, traffic safety, security training, emergency management, fire prevention, and theater safety. The office is also responsible for providing security and patrol services for all schools and school-owned facilities within FCPS.
