Southwestern Boundary Study

Background

On September 23, 2010, the School Board authorized staff to undertake a boundary study for the Southwestern region of the county this fall. Community dialogue meetings were held in late October for interested citizens to provide feedback to three preliminary boundary options. After the community engagement meetings, staff will consider the input from these meetings and revise the preliminary boundary options. The revised boundary options will be presented to the public, and comments will be gathered electronically via a survey process.

The Southwestern Boundary Study continues the work began in 2009 by the Southwestern Regional Planning Study Committee. Information about the planning study can be found on the Southwestern Regional Planning Study Community Engagement Process web site.
