Facilities Planning Advisory Council (FPAC)

Continuing Interest

FPAC presented it's quarterly report at the School Board’s December 13, 2012, work session. In a PowerPoint presentation to the SB, the chair noted that from September through December, 2012, six public meetings were held at which FPAC undertook review of multiple topics: Operations and Maintenance, the Capital Improvement Program, a “Boundary Lite” process, Proposed Advanced Academic Changes, and Renovation Criteria. FPAC also requested the preparation of a staff work program to address the issues identified in the FPAC 2011-2012 Annual Report to the School Board. The quarterly report includes several recommendations (with attached documents) on these issues and outlines plans for FPAC activities in the coming months. At that meeting, FPAC also acknowledged the approval of the Strategic Facilities Plan by the School Board on November 26, 2012, which provides guidelines for FPAC recommendations on facilities and staff proposals.
