USDA Commodities

The United States Department of Agriculture provides a variety of commodities to the National School Lunch programs. These add variety to the menus and defray a small percentage of the food cost. In recent years large quantities of pork and nuts have been received. Items containing pork or nuts are identified. See Special Needs/Allergies for more information.
