Award winning author, Adrian Fogelin, writes fiction novels that deal with complex issues and emotions that most middle school age students can relate to. In Crossing Jordan, two adolescent girls teach the adults around them about racial tolerance.
During the program, Ms. Fogelin shows a well worn manuscript and explains that perseverance is a must for any writer. The author answers questions from students about the writing process. One segment shows sixth grade students discussing the themes and characters in Crossing Jordan.
