Orson Scott Card
April 18, 2001 · Grades 7-12

Orson Scott Card is an award-winning science fiction writer who enjoys giving an old story a new twist. Ender's Shadow takes readers back to Ender's Game, not as a sequel but in a parallel story that views the events from a different point of view. Card's storytelling is a winner with young adults.

Card talks with students from Lake Braddock Secondary School and Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology about the writing process and how his most famous character, Ender Wiggin, evolved.
