Fred Bowen

Author, lawyer, and avid sports fan Fred Bowen is the creator of the highly successful AllStar SportStory series which includes T.J.'s Secret Pitch, The Golden Glove, and Off the Rim. He is also well known for his sports column, which appears regularly on The Washington Post's KidsPost page.

 

During the program, Bowen talks about the importance of journals and note taking, his role as a columnist, and of course, sports. Segments include student questions, a tour of The Washington Post's KIDSPOST, and a softball practice session with Bowen.
