At least one to two students with AD/HD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) can be found in each high school classroom. None of these students learns in the same way; AD/HD is a complex issue that affects students differently from one day to the next and even from one class period to the next.
Six high school seniors, diagnosed with AD/HD, participate in a panel discussion and share specific strategies their teachers have used to help them learn and cope with the inevitable stressors that accompany teenage life. Topics include organizing, time management, memory, and focusing and sustaining attention.
