Behavior Intervention Services provides comprehensive behavior intervention and support to school teams for students receiving general and/or special education services. Services are provided for students Pre-K through grade 12. Each of the eight Clusters within Fairfax County Public Schools has been assigned two Behavior Intervention Teachers who provide behavior support and intervention services to individual schools. Under the supervision of the program manager and the guidance of the school principal, the Behavior Intervention Teachers provide assistance to schools within their assigned Cluster on the design and implementation of behavioral prevention and intervention strategies and support services.
