MentorWorks is the umbrella name for school-based mentoring programs in Fairfax County Public Schools. MentorWorks began as an initiative in 1999 by former Superintendent Daniel Domenech.
Mission: To connect every Fairfax County Public School student to a caring, responsible adult.
Partners: MentorWorks is a joint venture of the following partners:
Fairfax County Public Schools
Fairfax County Council of PTAs
Fairfax Partnership for Youth
1. To broaden the scope of mentoring programs to reach more students.
2. To continue collaboration efforts with the MentorWorks partners.
3. To provide appropriate levels of support to schools, business/industry, and community.
