FCPS Internship Program
Guidelines and Procedures
  1. Explore DIT Internship website and become familiar with job descriptions,

  2. Review documents that establish employment eligibility, http://www.fcps.edu/DHR/forms/docs/hr428.pdf
  3. Prepare resume.
  4. Attend job fair at Edison High School on October 30.
  5. Submit resumes by November 17.
  6. Participate in interviews.
  7. Attend new intern orientation held on January 26, a teacher workday, at Human Resources.
  8. Provide own transportation to work location.
  9. Work a minimum of 10 hours per week as paid intern during second semester from February through May.
  10. Culminate the work experience with a ceremony at Sprague Technology Center on May 19.
