Patron Support:

The Fairfax County Regional Science and Engineering Fair is comprised of winning science and engineering projects from high school students representing private and public schools in Fairfax County, VA.

Professionals from government agencies and private organizations from the Washington D.C. metropolitan area participate as category judges or contributing sponsors.

The Regional Science and Engineering Fair begins Friday, March 19th with student project registration. Judging and award selections are conducted on Saturday, March 20th. Judging for category awards and contributing sponsor awards are both held in the morning, while Grand Prize judging is in the afternoon.

The fair draws to a close on Sunday, March 21st with the Awards Ceremony starting at 3:00 p.m. at Robinson Secondary School. Awards presenters represent the school system and business community.

The student science exhibits are open to the public between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.
