Cluster Mission Statement
The Cluster Office provides instructional and operational leadership to the K-12 Pyramids of Cluster III schools, and promotes open communication among educators, parents, support staff and school board members. The charge of the Cluster office is to ensure educational excellence, equality and high expectations for student achievement in a safe learning environment.
The Assistant Superintendent provides leadership, direction, and accountability for Principals by monitoring school effectiveness and community relations. The Assistant Superintendent evaluates principals and conducts the search for new principals while serving as a school-community liaison and as a broker/advocate for the delivery of system-wide services to schools.
Goals
• Review the academic performance of student groups and work to strengthen the instructional program in all schools
• Improve the achievement of diverse learners and close disparities in achievement among students
• Evaluate principals and recommend new principals for appointment
• Develop and promote positive, capable and diverse school leaders
• Achieve system-wide School Board Targets which measure student success
• Broker the provision of services to schools to keep them safe, clean, and operating in the best interests of students and educators
• Increase accessibility to quality educational technology resources for students and staff.
