The School Events calendar on the FCPS web site lists happenings in all Fairfax County public schools. Find out about student performances, fun fairs, special celebrations, and more. An online form to list an event on the Channel 21 Bulletin Board is also linked at the site.
Lori KnickerbockerSenior Communications Specialist (DCCO) |
Oversees the integration of school division plans, policies, and goals into a comprehensive public affairs and instructional cable television system. Lori also works with FCPS and outside organizations to effectively market programming, and liaisons with Cox Communications, Inc., Comcast Cable Communications, Inc., and Verizon. If you have television story ideas, Lori is a good first contact. She can also answer questions regarding program content, broadcast times, and program availability. |
Tracey JewellTeleproductions Manager (DIT) |
Oversees the production of all FCPS television programming including public information, staff development and training, and curriculum-based programs. Tracey supervises a staff of 15 video production professionals (13 are funded by Cox Communications, Inc.) who produce over 350 projects each year. Tracey is also involved in marketing programs that are distributed nationally via satellite to school districts across the country. |
Kevin LawtonCable Resource Specialist (DIT) |
Disseminates information to FCPS curriculum coordinators and librarians about cable programs on FCPS’ three cable television channels and oversees the Electronic Media Library at Sprague Technology Center. In addition, Kevin serves as a liaison with Cox Communications, Inc., Comcast Cable Communications, Inc., and Cable in the Classroom. |
James LomaxManager, Media and Training (DIT) |
Disseminates information to FCPS curriculum coordinators and librarians about cable programs on FCPS’ three cable television channels. Oversees the Electronic Media Library at Sprague Technology Center and chairs EMPACT, a committee composed of representatives from throughout FCPS who recommend and evaluate FCPS cable TV programs. In addition, liaisons with Cox Communications, Inc., Comcast Cable Communications, Inc., Verizon, and Cable in the Classroom. |
