FCPS programming is available on DVD, videotape, and audiotape upon request. Requests for duplications of Fairfax County Public Schools productions should be submitted in writing and must include the following information:

  • Title
  • Length of title (if known)
  • Date originally shown
  • Check (in appropriate amount) payable to Fairfax County Public Schools

Due to copyright restrictions, videotapes of most performance-based productions, e.g., "Chorus Festival," "The Cappies Gala," are not available for purchase. If you have questions or need additional information about what can be purchased, contact Faithe Smith.

Prices and Ordering Information

FCPS provides stock for all duplication orders and will not accept blank DVDs, videocassette(s) and audiocassette(s) from requestors. Only one title will be placed on each disc or tape.

All programming produced by FCPS, including School Board meetings, community information programs and educational productions are subject to the following fee schedule:

FCPS Employees

DVDs - $ 8.50
Videocassette (1/2” VHS) - $ 8.50
Audiocassettes (60 or 90 minutes) $ 2

FCPS has acquired duplication rights for titles listed in the Approved Instructional Materials (AIM) database. Duplication numbers are identified by the 10,000 (10000-19999) series of numbers. Requests for duplication of these materials must be submitted on an INV-10 and sent to the Duplication Section, Sprague Technology Center. The INV-10 should include the following information:

  • School name, contact person, and phone number
  • Department name
  • School location code
  • Fund code
  • Electronic media duplication number
  • Electronic media title
  • Length of title

Fairfax County Residents

  • DVD or 1/2” VHS - $10

Non-Fairfax County Residents

  • DVD or 1/2” VHS - $25
