Join educational specialists from Fairfax County Public Schools Assessment Office to have your questions about alternate and alternative assessments answered!

  • Gain additional knowledge of state assessment options.
  • Learn about scoring for alternate and alternative assessments such as the VAAP and VGLA.

Mind in the Making: Communicating

Adapted Toy Story

FCPS Assistive Technology Services will present this interactive workshop to provide play options for students with special accessibility needs in grades Pre-K through 6. At this hands-on workshop for parents of children with low incidence disabilities and special accessibility needs, you will learn how to adapt simple toys for your child and how adapted books, toys and battery operated switches can make play accessible for your child.
